Forming the professional backbone of the firm, our Valuation Department relies on a vast level of experience in all sectors of the property market, including residential, retail, office, industrial, warehousing, leisure property and business transactions. It cannot be far from the truth to say that we have advised on almost all property throughout the region.

Our Residential survey and valuation team, based in each of our four offices, has extensive local knowledge and can usually react very promptly to any instructions.

We have developed a new Single Survey and provision of an Energy Performance Certificate following the introduction of the Home Report from December 2008. This is required in order to place a domestic property on the market, and we place a great value on our ability to adapt to this revolution in the way that houses are bought and sold in Scotland. At Allied our preferred delivery of the Home Report is through Onesurvey, however we are able to provide valuation expertise through the delivery system of your choice.

The Allied Surveyors Scotland umbrella provides a great collective resource which in turn benefits our clients in efficiency and cost terms.

Commercial property Valuation forms one of the busiest sectors of our workload, and in addition to valuation reporting, for Lenders and Occupiers, we undertake many Rent Reviews on behalf of both Landlord and Tenant. Rating appeals have also long been an area of expertise.
